Restore points get a 30-day downgrade grace period
Backup & Restore snapshots above your new plan's limit are now kept for 30 days after a downgrade - locked, visible, and recoverable by upgrading, instead of silently deleted.
A grace window instead of immediate pruning
Moving to a lower tier previously could prune restore points down to the new plan’s retained-job limit. A downgrade now starts a 30-day grace window that keeps those additional snapshots in place instead of deleting them immediately.
Locked, visible, and recoverable
Snapshots beyond the current plan’s entitlement remain visible as locked rows with an upgrade path. Restores still follow the current plan’s limit, but upgrading during the grace window makes the retained restore points available again. The downgrade email provides the exact grace deadline so the retention change is clear.
Retention limits by plan
Free keeps 3 restore jobs, Starter keeps 15, Growth keeps 30, and Pro keeps 200. A billing change should not remove the existing safety net before there is time to make an informed decision.
