Faster bulk Variations edits and clearer save-size advice

Bulk actions on the Variations page prepare faster in large shops, handle option names containing commas correctly, and explain what to do when a listing's changes are too large to save at once.

Update recap for 2026-10-01.

Bulk actions on the Variations page work out every change before anything is saved. In shops with many listings and many pending edits, that preparation could feel slow. Everlyst now indexes your drafted changes by listing and groups linked prices and quantities once per listing, so bulk actions get ready noticeably faster.

This update also fixes a matching problem with option values that contain commas, such as “Red, matte”. Two different combinations could be mistaken for each other, so a bulk change could skip one of them. Combinations are now compared by their exact values. A listing with no matching combinations is reported only as having no match.

Some listings have so many combinations that one save of all their changes is too large to send. Everlyst now names those listings and explains what to do. Your changes stay drafted, so nothing is lost. Change fewer combinations on that listing at a time, and keep in mind that a price or quantity shared across combinations changes every combination linked to it.

See the Variations feature for the full editor.
