Find the listings paying fees without selling.
Active listings that keep renewing without selling, in one view. Pick a window from 30 to 365 days, see the fees those listings have accrued, project the annual cost of staying on auto-renew, and change deactivation or renewal settings through queued jobs.
- Adjustable window from 30 to 365 days
- Renewal fee totals observed in your real payment history
- Per-listing recommendations
- Single and bulk deactivation from the page
- Renewal controls and expiry-risk alerts on the same page
- Starter covers 50 listings, Growth and Pro cover the whole catalog
Why it matters
Every active Etsy listing renews for $0.20 whether it sells or not. On a large catalog, listings that stopped selling a year ago keep renewing on autopilot, and the cost never shows up anywhere you would naturally look.
Dead Stock puts that cost in front of you. It flags active listings with no sales inside your chosen window and totals the renewal fees actually observed against them in your payment history.
Real fees, not a model
The fee figures are charges Etsy actually made, pulled from your imported payment ledger. That distinction matters, because a modeled estimate is easy to dismiss and a real total is not.
Renewal cost and expiry risk
Observed renewal fees are real ledger charges. Everlyst uses those charges to calibrate the projected annual cost of leaving non-selling listings on auto-renew, so the forecast reflects what staying the course costs rather than a generic fee assumption.
Renewal controls live beside the dead-stock list. Move an auto-renew listing to manual renewal on its own or switch a selected group in one queued job. The inverse guard looks for selling listings that are not set to auto-renew and may expire, then lets Growth and Pro enable auto-renew for that at-risk group in bulk.
From insight to action in one page
Finding dead stock is only useful if acting on it is easy. Deactivation and renewal changes run directly from the page through the same queued pathway as the rest of your bulk work. Nothing happens silently, and each listing reflects the new state when the job completes.
Step by step
- 01
Pick a window
Choose how long without a sale counts as dead, anywhere from 30 to 365 days. The list and fee totals update to match.
- 02
Read the cost
Each flagged listing shows the renewal fees observed against it since your import began, so the cost of leaving it active is a real number.
- 03
Choose the safer renewal path
Deactivate dead stock, move auto-renew listings to manual renewal, or enable auto-renew in bulk for selling listings at risk of expiry.
Capabilities
- Flag active listings with no sales inside a window you choose, from 30 to 365 days, including never-sold listings older than the window.
- See the renewal fees actually charged against flagged listings in your payment history, not a modeled estimate.
- Read a per-listing recommendation for whether to deactivate, refresh, or review.
- Deactivate one listing or a whole batch directly from the page, through the same queued and tracked pathway as every other bulk change.
- Switch non-selling auto-renew listings to manual renewal singly or in bulk, then watch the queued job apply.
- Project the annual renewal cost of non-selling auto-renew listings from the renewal fees observed in your payment history.
- Flag selling listings that are not set to auto-renew on Growth and Pro, with one bulk action to enable auto-renew for the at-risk group.
- Watch job progress as deactivation and renewal changes apply, with the listing state reflected when the job completes.
Dead Stock is the renewal action layer of the Insights group. Sales Analytics shows the shape of the shop, Listing Health scores everything, and Dead Stock helps you retire non-sellers, change how they renew, and protect selling listings from expiry.
