How to disconnect or reconnect an Etsy shop
Open Settings, Shops and choose Disconnect beside the shop you want to remove. Reconnect through the same page. You do not need to disconnect a shop to switch shops, use the header switcher instead.
Sometimes you need to disconnect and reconnect a shop to change its owner’s Etsy login, refresh a stale token, or test the OAuth flow. You do not need to disconnect a shop simply to work in another linked shop. Use the shop switcher in the app header for that.
To disconnect
- Sign in to Everlyst.
- Open Settings, Shops.
- Click Disconnect next to the shop.
- Confirm.
The disconnect is immediate. Etsy invalidates the token, and Everlyst can no longer read or modify the shop.
What happens to your data when you disconnect
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your Everlyst account | Stays open. You can sign back in any time. |
| Cached listing data | Retained for 30 days, then purged. |
| Backup & Restore snapshots | Retained per your plan’s retention window. |
| Saved filters and views | Retained indefinitely on your account. |
| Pending bulk jobs | Cancelled immediately - no further changes are sent to Etsy. |
| Billing | Continues until you cancel your subscription separately. |
To reconnect
- Open Settings, Shops and click Connect Etsy shop.
- Sign in to Etsy.
- Re-approve the same permissions (see What permissions does Everlyst request and why).
- A fresh sync runs to refresh the cached catalog.
If you reconnect within 30 days, your saved filters, views, and snapshots are still there. After 30 days, listing-level data is purged and the reconnect runs a clean sync.
Connecting a shop owned by a different Etsy account
Etsy’s OAuth flow does not include an account picker. If the account you want to connect is different from the Etsy account currently signed into your browser:
- If you are changing ownership for an already linked shop, disconnect that shop. Leave other linked shops connected.
- From Settings, Shops, begin Connect another shop.
- Use the first guided step to open Etsy’s sign-out page in a new tab and sign out.
- Return to Everlyst and start authorization.
- Sign in with the Etsy account that owns the shop you want to connect.
For full session isolation, you can instead keep each shop in a separate browser profile or Firefox container tab. This remains a useful fallback when separate people operate the shops or you do not want their Etsy sessions to share a browser context.
To cancel your Everlyst subscription
Disconnecting your shop does not cancel billing. See Cancelling your subscription for the separate steps.
